Cells
The Universe Inside Us
Maryland Science Center

Assemble took part in a diverse collaboration funded by the National Institute of Health. Expert scientific advisors from Johns Hopkins University and the University of Maryland, choreographers from the Liz Lerman Dance Exchange, and students from the Maryland Institute College of Art worked with Maryland Science Center staff to create the exhibition.
A giant interactive telescope magically transports us down into our own microscopic world. Here, billions of our body's cells keep us active and alive while facilitating everything we do. Travel through the structure of a single cell and into the questions that drive scientific research reveals a fresh look at who we really are and how science affects our lives.
