A 10,000 square foot traveling exhibition explores the relationship between our senses, our culture and the natural world. For thousands of years human beings have extracted fragrance from plants and animals to transform themselves for ritual and pleasure. Making Scents reveals the art, science and history of perfume and fragrant plants through interactive experiences immersed in gardens and botanical collections.
